Thinking Mind
Our mind is like a wild horse uncontrolled, untamed, traversing varied spheres... sometimes in affirmation and sometimes in negation. We experience many emotions, feelings and thoughts because of this versatile nature of our mind, but we rarely think that the quality of all these depends largely on the way, how we tame this wild horse. In our lives we know things or actions which we ought not to do, but miss on things and actions which we need to do.... and being preoccupied with things which are negative by nature, how can we expect to excel or do well in any domain of life. To curb this sphere of negative energies which predominantly surround our mind we should focus on things we need to do instead of focusing on things which we shouldn’t, it will give us a direction and will also enable us to think and behave positively. For example we state a pious feeling of ‘Love’ in the most negative way, when we say: “I have fallen in love”, here 'falling' itself shows a sign of degradation, and such statements can only emerge when you have some pessimism attached to the core. For achieving anything, you needn't bother for what is not to be done and instead focus on what is to be done, just doing this will eradicate any impediment between you and your goal.
